Rocker in the nose leading into traditional camber by the back foot. Float effortlessly through powder and lock-in on groomers.
Powerful, snappy and stable. Directional flex.
Extra edge contact points to give your board more edge control and stability, especially in icy conditions.
A replacement for carbon fiber with similar characteristics; Basalt Stringers in a ‘V’ shape move outwards from the binding areas to distribute energy towards the contact points for improved torsional snapback, smoother carving and stability at speed by dampening those nasty vibrations.
This model features an extra wide profile, which means you can size down 3-5cm from your typical daily driver. The wider footprint provides extra stability and float in a shorter package, giving you the same surface area underfoot as a longer board would!
Carve your heart out, float through powder with minimal effort, and have a blast surfing your way around the entire mountain!

Stable and ripping shortboard in powder and groomers, definitely a unique and standout character amongst the pack. Always had me coming back for more to see what this directional creative shape can do!

The Pyre is a beast! It’s wide and the camber has plenty of pop. The float was great in the powder. The Pyre rips carves and goes waaaaay fast when you get back on the groomers. The graphics from Niche have this cool matte black finish to them and they all look sick. Eco friendly and local.

Gnarly shred stick! I’m 5’6” 160lb, size 8 boot and ride the 150. First thing I noticed was the board was noticeably the heavy. Not a horribly thing. This thing thunders through the chunder. The board is super damp and you cannot feel any chatter whatsoever. Absolutely rails turns. I’ve ridden it with Cartel Xs, and Jones Mercury bindings and the carving is much much powerful with the skate tech. Skidded turns are no problem. The wide deck makes for a great landing gear in powder. This performs best in powder for sure. Buttering off the nose is sooo nice. The sweet spot is pretty big and It feels easy to balance. One negative is that it takes a lot of effort for someone my size to get this thing up in the air. I’m sure if I was bigger it would be easier. I ride pretty aggressively but I am small. The board rides pretty stiff and heavy. Someone a little bigger than me with a size 10ish boot would love this as an all mountain killer. Slightly too wide for me too take out on groomer days but my buddy loves it as he is bigger than me. As my dedicated powder board, this is perfect for me. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a pow slayer and certain people for a one board quiver killer.
Also had thought about dropping to the ember at 145 as an everyday board. I think that would be a fun option for smaller people like myself too. It would probably become poppy and playful on groomer days.
Get stoked on this board. It’s a killer one

I mostly ride the Maelstrom and the Fathom but on sunny spring groomer days this board absolutely eats up the carves. Love some t-shirt euro-carves.
Also for in resort deep pow days this things charges hard. with the camber and stiffness it can charge cliffs way harder than other volume shifts I have ridden. I size down about 10cm for in resort pow charging.
Also, for big backcountry lines at high speeds (Baker, AK, Jackson Hole, Cat/heli laps) I size down only about 5cm and this thing is an absolute beast on massive lines. Love this board!

I’m 6’4 250lbs with size 13 boot and I own the 160cm Pyre. I rode this board 45 days last season and it was great. First off let me say that I love this company, there was a problem with the shipping when I ordered this board early last year and personally received a call from the owner to rectify it, she compd the shipping cost and made everything right. Dope company!
Value- 5/5
Spent 499$ for this board, crazy good value
Durability 4/5
The base is super tough and fast, the top sheet does chip easily but with the matte finish you don’t really notice it
Carving 4/5
This thing can rail a turn on decent snow. Once it gets icy it does struggle to grab an edge
Powder- 3/5
This was the one area I did not think this board acceled in. Got lots of rear leg burn, I even set my bindings all the way back on a 40inch+ day and it just felt like the board was being overwhelmed. In 10 inches of pow this is a pretty good board, just think it might be too stiff for nipple deep pow days.
Freeride- 5/5
This board is crazy damp and can send it. It just blows through everything. At high speed you do notice a bit of chatter in the nose but it doesn’t resonate much back underfoot, so go send some cliffs.
Graphics- 10/5
Just look at it, it’s beautiful. Everyone asks about it in the lift line
If you are someone who skids all there turns, this board will wear you out so it’s not a great beginner board. But this is a great do everything board, might not be a good choice for a dedicated pow stick, but get this board and ride it as a everyday resort crusher. The shape is kick ass and it rips.

Dimensions hit in my favorite area but wow first ride it came really edge high out of the box, gonna need to spend some bucks and time sorting it out.

All time favorite! This board is my go to for a cruisy day of ripping around the resort, or chasing dreamy pow lines. Its float is unbeatable with the wide profile and fat nose. I love being able to downsize too! I’m 5’6 140lbs on a 145…it makes this board so maneuverable, playful and fun! Season after season this board is top of my list.

If you crave something that floats and surfs in powder but isn’t miserable to ride on a groomer give this thing a try. It’s surfy but can still charge hard in deep snow when you point it, also easy to whip around the woods

This board is soooo amazing and ridiculously fun to surf the mountain with!
I have ridden a lot of short volume shift boards over the years (5’8 170lb on the 150cm), and I can say this has been my favorite so far by a long shot! Where most of the other boards I have ridden all lacked in certain aspects, this one shines. Lot’s of pop when needed, carves effortlessly and has a boost out of the turn, never feeling dead. Even when ridden in the center-ish position it still floats great in deeper dry pow with lots of room to slide back further when needed to stave off the burn.
The Ritual graphics on this with the forest green and gold is so beautiful in person, kudos the artist on this one!
If you want to have a daily surfy driver that takes the fun side hits and sneaky slashes all over the hill while still able to hit some chutes, deep pow and chunder with ease, this is the best board for producing endless smiles!
Also, Kirsten and the team at Niche is so great to deal with which is a super rarity in the snow industry let alone any industry. Thanks Niche for making some amazing boards that are also keeping the waste out of the landfill, using eco materials and doing an amazing job at keeping people stoked!
